Hey there! I just wanted to give you a quick update on what's been going on since my last post.
I've started working on the new blog framework, but progress has been a bit slower than I had hoped.
I've decided to go with Rust for the backend instead of Golang. The deciding factors were that I want to continue learning Rust and that I have more experience with it, so it will be quicker in the long run.
I have completed a basic "hello world" integration of Rust and HTMX and have begun setting up the groundwork for an authentication middleware. It's quite basic at the moment, and it is an exciting topic to explore further in the future. Maybe I'll write a tutorial about it in the future.
I recently took a 10-day trip to France to visit some friends. It was a fantastic trip and a much-needed break. I'm feeling motivated to get back to work. I have a Swedish exam coming up in a month, and preparing for it will take up a lot of my time. I'll try to make some progress on the blog, but the exam is my top priority right now.
That's about it, at least from what I can recall.
Thank you for reading, and I'll keep you updated if anything else comes up.
